Pura Vida Voices is a place where people come to develop new options for ways to fully live out their lives.
Your voice will be heard as you share and reflect about your life stories. We will listen to you without judging. We believe a person comes with a history that better defines them than a clinical diagnosis. However, we do understand that some individuals will require a clinical diagnosis in order to receive appropriate services. (Refer to our “goodness of fit” drop down.)
We do not work with insurance companies. However, we offer reduced session fees. We will determine your treatment program based on our professional training and insights rather than have an insurance company do so. Any treatment approach will be described and discussed with the client. We believe that our work with a client is a partnership where we serve as a guide.
Pura Vida Voices is an integrative center. It’s a place to comfortably face your fears while being supported. It provides flexible programs that allow opportunities to examine who you are, what you want, and what stops you. You create choices and decide what is best in developing a vibrant life. Yes, a vibrant life. Not a perfect life. Not a trouble-free life. A vibrant life.
“Pura Vida” is a greeting used throughout the Spanish-speaking world. It refers to those moments where everything trivial and bothersome falls away. It’s a way of defining a life through being honest about your present ideas, feelings, and actions. Each new day offers the opportunity to live in a manner that is more consistent with what you want for yourself. This involves having moments of pure being. It’s about living in the present and creating a harmonious flow with your world right now.
